Tales of the Otherworld (Review)

By the time I got to the end of the Otherworld series, I wanted there to be more. And thankfully, there are tons of other stories about the characters out there. First, I went ahead and read Men of the Otherworld and this collection, but they were just the jumping of point for me to go on and read all the various short stories I could find.

Personal Demon (Review)

I hadn’t really loved the half-demon characters in the series so far, but Hope turns out to be the exception. I wish I had read Chaotic before I read this one – I kind of skipped the novella by accident – so make sure you do that first if you’re going to read Personal Demon. So many things will make more sense to you than they did to me.

No Humans Involved (Review)

The first time that Jaime appeared in an earlier book, I wasn’t sure how I felt about her. She was a bit ditzy, and seemed to use her supernatural powers mostly to make money. But by the time I got to this book, I’d started to sort of like her.

No Humans Involved was probably the book in the series that I found the creepiest so far.

Haunted (Review)

Up until this book, the character of Eve was completely off-screen. Anything we knew about her was from the memories of other characters. So it was nice to get a chance to get to know her in her own words, and to open up another side of the series, to see a character who isn’t “just” plain old “good”.
