In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren and inspired by Pop Culture Junkie.

Every week (or skipping some, depending on how frequently new books enter my life!), I’ll be posting on Sundays about what books I got, from all sources – bought, borrowed, exchanged, etc.

Review copies from HarperCollins:

  1. Almost Dead by Assaf Gavron
  2. Black Water Rising by Attica Locke
  3. Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel
  4. The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver
  5. Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood
  6. The Wish Maker by Ali Sethi

  1. I’ve seen Wolf Hall around a lot lately and wonder how good it is. 🙂 The title definitely makes me curious. Have fun reading this weekend!

    1. We want to do Year of the Flood at my book club, and apparently this one sort of comes before it, so I have to read it first! I love Atwood in general, so I’m sure this one will be great.

  2. wow, you got some really awesome books. i want to read Wolf Hall and Lacuna, and Oryx and Crake looks good, too! gotta love Harper. 🙂

    1. I think Wolf Hall is the next one of that list that I’m going to be attacking, but it’s so long! I’m going to try to get a couple smaller books in first before I dive in.

  3. Wow…nice mailbox! Interesting title spread there….have to say the cover of Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood definitely caught my eye though. Intriguing! Thanks for sharing….and happy reading!
