In My Mailbox

April 25, 2010

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren and inspired by Pop Culture Junkie.

Every week (or skipping some, depending on how frequently new books enter my life!), I’ll be posting on Sundays about what books I got, from all sources – bought, borrowed, exchanged, etc.

Bought from

  1. The Art of Eating In: How I Learned to Stop Spending and Love the Stove by Cathy Erway
  2. The Shepherd’s Granddaughter by Anne Laurel Carter
  3. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  4. The Faith Club: A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew – Three Women Search for Understanding by Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver, and Priscilla Warner
  5. Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt
  6. Of Hockey and Hijab: Reflections of a Canadian Muslim Woman by Sheema Khan
  7. Locavore: From Farmers’ Fields to Rooftop Gardens – How Canadians are Changing the Way We Eat by Sarah Elton

Mmm I want to read Wuthering Heights. I have three copies of it at home, but two are super old and one is a giant copy w/ illustrations. I need to buy one I can haul with me to/from work. Happy reading! My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.

I’ve somehow never ended up picking up a copy until now! I’m joining in on a read-a-long so that I’ll finally get to reading it. 🙂
