This month has been really, really long.
Between school and watching the Olympics, I haven’t actually had much time to read. Oddly enough, though, I’ve read more than it looks like below – because I’m in the process of reading quite a few books that I haven’t yet finished. I’m really hoping to pick up the pace this month as school gets back into the swing of things (instead of being in the first few weeks of a new semester teaching all-new classes), and with March Break. Oh, how I’m looking forward to that. One week on the beach? Fan-freaking-tastic. Now, mind you, the ten hour overnight layover in Newark on my return flight is definitely not so fantastic, but it’ll hopefully be worth it. At the very least, I should get lots of reading done.
I’ve also started journalling some more, but by hand in a notebook instead of on livejournal. It’s more personal, free-flow thought ramblings than structured thoughts or anything. The prompts are coming largely from The Writing Diet (which I’m currently reading), and are dealing with my day-to-day stressors and my relationship with food. It’s an ongoing process!
