Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme.
Plots? Or stream-of-consciousness? Which would you rather read?
I almost always prefer plot over stream-of-consciousness. There’s just something about being told a story that really can’t be beat in my opinion. I like to have characters that I can connect with – and I have a harder time doing this if there aren’t events and conflicts to follow them through.
I’ve tried to read a few stream-of-consciousness works, with very little success. Even though it was assigned to me in two different university courses, I never got through To the Lighthouse. It just bored me to tears.
