Bloggiesta the Sixth

Bloggiesta was created by Natasha from Maw Books Blog and is now hosted by Suey from It’s All About Books and Danielle from There’s a Book. Here’s the details:

Bloggiesta starts today and runs through Sunday. Participate when and how you want. This is your time to improve on those little things about your blog you’ve been thinking about for months, mark off those long to-do lists and possibly even discover a few great new blogs. Whether you have days, hours or just a few minutes we hope you’ll join us!

This is a blogging party led by our fearless mascot PEDRO (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize.). The idea behind Bloggiesta is to keep Pedro happy by spending these next three days working on perfecting your blog and connecting with other bloggers doing the same thing.

You can read about my Bloggiesta escapades from previous events herehereherehereherehere, and here.

I’ve gotten really behind on writing reviews, so this bloggiesta (like the last few I’ve participated in) will be dedicated to trying desperately to catch up. Maybe I’ll also get a few other tasks done, but this is really going to have to be my focus this weekend.

Goals for this Bloggiesta:

  • Update my Reading Around the World map
  • Catch up on review posts
    • Long Walk to Freedom
    • The Knot Wedding Book
    • Planning Your Wedding Sucks
    • It Starts With Food
    • Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat
    • Gulp
    • The Night Circus
    • Jumpstart the World
    • The Graveyard Book
    • Dark Places
    • Sharp Objects
    • Quiet
    • American on Purpose
    • Palestine

I’ll be updating my progress in the list and/or at the bottom of this post so that I don’t clog up people’s feeds. If you’re participating in Bloggiesta, let me know in the comments and I’ll be sure to come by, say hello, and cheer you on!

  1. That’s a long list of books to review, but you can do it! It’ll feel so good once you finish!

If you haven’t already, stop by and enter my Bloggiesta Challenge Giveaway, which you can totally enter even if you don’t complete the challenge!
