24 Hour Read-A-Thon: Book to Movie (Mini-Challenge)

From 8am EST (4pm my time) this morning until 8am (4pm my time) tomorrow morning, I’m joining in on the 24 Hour Read-A-Thon! It’s sort of a reading challenge, only everyone participates at the same time. For 24 hours, we read books, post in our blogs about our reading, and visit other readers’ blogs. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day.

Welcome to everyone heading over here for a break from the read-a-thon! I hope that you’re enjoying yourself so far, and I’m really happy to have the opportunity to host a mini-challenge on my blog to give you a bit of a break from whatever you’re currently reading.

It’s now Hour 23, and you’ve almost made it to the end! I’ve got a nice, simple mini-challenge for your poor, sleep-deprived brains. Here goes!

Choose one of the books you’ve read during this mini-challenge, and cast the movie! Who do you think should play the main character(s)? Who might be an interesting director? Character actor for a bit part? Do a quick Google Image search and show us your choices. Feel free to give us a bit of background about the character or the reasoning for your choice, or don’t … you decide.

  • Post your response to the mini-challenge on your blog (in your main read-a-thon updates or in a post of its own, your choice). Leave a link to this blog post in the comments below.
  • The winner of this mini-challenge will be receiving a book of their choice with a value of up to $20 CDN. (Entries are open to people from any country that The Book Depository ships to.)
  • You can enter the draw using the Rafflecopter widget below; if you can’t see it, simply state this in your comment and I’ll add you manually.
  • This mini-challenge will be open for 3 hours.

Thanks for stopping by and participating in the Book to Movie mini-challenge!

  2. I am reading Fables: Legends in Exile.
And the main character there is Snowwhite.
And I actually think Julia Roberts with black hair, would fit good for this comic 🙂 if it where turned into a movie.
