24 Hour Read-A-Thon: A Few Hours Later

April 10, 2010

Hour 3 Mini-Challenge:

I’m skipping this one, since the person running it is only shipping prizes out to people in the US. Also, it’s a bunch of questions that will likely take more time away from my reading than I really want to do this early in the day.

However, I am going to show you my “reading buddies” right now, the only other awake-ish life forms in the apartment right now!

Those are my lovely babies, Mona (top) and Skittles (bottom), having a siesta and a lick-a-thon over on the other futon. Mona’s got that look on her face because I had to snap my fingers at her to get her to stop licking long enough for me to take the picture.

Hour 4 Mini-Challenge:

Quite simple really, I want you to pull three or four books off of your bookshelves and use them to form a sentence, from the book titles, take a photograph and upload it somewhere you can link to it from.

These are all books from my TBR pile for today!

Last Chance: The Prophet Spanking Shakespeare, The Book Thief. Too Much Happiness.

Also, I just finished reading Too Much Happiness (Alice Munro), so I’m going to be posting that review shortly.

    Reading takes a toll
    Stand and stretch and eat
